About the VLO

Logistics design is a rising discipline. That is why there is a need for a cental point to exchange knowledge and experience. The VLO is of exactly this opinion.
The VLO forms an intermediary between businesses and people dealing with logistics. The VLO performs a central role in a contact network. In addition, the VLO strives to promote the discipline of Logistics Design. The VLO closely follows developments in the area of logistics. Knowledge, experience and contacts are the VLO focal points.
The VLO arose from the International Program for Logistics Management Systems* (LMS) and to this day the VLO is closely involved with this program. In doing so, the VLO bridges a gap between business and education, constantly keeping one side aware of the other. This leads to fruitful exchanges of ideas.

The VLO mainly targets the following:
-Improving the exchange of knowledge
-Increase communication among members
-Stressing the distinguishing features of logistics design
-Promote the educational program of Logistics Management Systems

| The VLO exists for YOU! |
The VLO has members and supporters. Members are trainees and graduates from LMS. Also other people who are active in the area of logistics and share a special interest in logistics design may be eligible for membership. Supporters, or donors, are businesses and institutions that in one way or another are involved with the VLO.
