Friso Kuipers: Chairman
I finished my master study in Computer Science / Business Intelligence at TU/e in 1999. After having worked for three years in the telecommunications and ICT branch I decided it was time for a change in mandate. Hence, I joined the LMS programme and finished it in February 2005. I support the VLO because I think it's of vital importance to have a platform of thinkers-alike to maintain the globally known leverage of being a country of logistics experts (next to dike-builders, of course). I am currently working as a Consultant at Gordian Logistics Experts, Utrecht.
Marco Bachrach: Treasurer
I graduated in econometrics specialising in quantitative logistics in 1997 at Tilburg University. Thereafter I immediately continued with the International Program in Logistics Management Systems at Eindhoven University, which I finished by the end of 1999 with a project at Dow Chemicals in Terneuzen.
I started my working carreer at Océ Technologies in Venlo in 2000 and worked in several logistics and IT projects as a logistics project manager and later as business project manager service logistics. In 2006 I moved to Philips Lighting where I am working as a supply chain consultant responsible for management reporting, business planning and the logistics improvement portfolio in the supply group TL/CFL-ni.
I have been an active member of the VLO since 1998 organising three conferences and being a board member since 1999. Since 2003 I am treasurer in the VLO board.

Currently I am working as a LMS trainee in collaboration with ASML.

I then started working as a trainee of the Logistics Management Systems (LMS) program at the Stan Ackerman Institute in Eindhoven at January 2012. From March 2012 I was the secretary of the VLO board. Currently I am a general board member.
